CENTER LANE — PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Last updated July 21, 2026
Center Lane is built by Aether Tools. It works without an account and has no backend — there is no server for your data to be sent to. This policy explains what that means in practice.
The short version. No account. No analytics. No ads. No backend. The declassified document ships inside the app; your bookmarks and any notes live only on your device.
Information we collect
We do not collect personal information. Center Lane has no account system, no login, and no server. Reading the document, searching it, and anything you save happen on your device.
Sensors and data types Center Lane does not use
Center Lane does not use location, contacts, your photo library, or advertising identifiers. It does not read data about you from your device. If a later version adds optional audio sessions or an optional Apple Health reading, those remain opt-in, on-device, and are described here before they ship.
What is stored on your device
Your preferences, bookmarks, reading position, and any notes you write are stored locally on your device using standard on-device storage. This information is not uploaded. If you choose to enable iCloud, that content syncs through your own private iCloud account under Apple's terms, not through us — we never see it.
Analytics and tracking
None. Center Lane contains no third-party analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, and no cross-app tracking.
Third parties
We do not sell or share your personal information, because we do not collect it. App distribution and any purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy.
Children
Center Lane is intended for a general audience interested in a historical government document. It is not directed to children, and we knowingly collect no data from anyone.
Your controls
You can remove bookmarks and notes from within the app. Deleting the app removes all of its on-device data.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
