What LEYLINE is. A field magnetometer for iPhone. It reads the phone's calibrated magnetic field, sets a site baseline, flags readings that depart from that baseline, and lets you log a GPS survey trail and export it as CSV or GPX. You can draw ley-line nodes and segments on the map by hand; those are your annotations, never instrument output.

Getting good readings
- If the app says “Sensor calibrating” or “Low sensor accuracy”, move the phone in a slow figure-eight until accuracy reads MEDIUM or HIGH.
- Set a baseline: open Calibrate, then hold the phone still away from metal for 45 seconds.
- Remove MagSafe cases, wallets and magnets. Cars, rebar, fences and pipes will dominate the reading.
- Readings above ~120 µT mean nearby metal; the app excludes them from candidates.
What it is not
Candidates are statistical changes from your baseline, not detections of ley lines or energy. Phone magnetometers feel rebar before crust.
