These terms govern your use of EarthTune ("the app"), published by Aether Tools ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
What this app is. A wellness instrument that follows Earth’s measured Schumann fundamental with binaural and isochronic audio, and shows the age of every reading.
Not a medical device. EarthTune does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, and nothing in the app or on this site is medical advice. Do not use it as a substitute for professional care.
Photosensitivity. Visuals are flicker-free by design — the orb breathes at four seconds; session pulse is audio only. We still ask you not to use the app if flashing lights have ever been a problem for you, and to enable Reduce Motion if motion itself is an issue. Never use it while driving or operating machinery.
Honesty about the numbers
f₀ comes from parsers we run on public observatory spectrogram images, not from a certified geophysical feed and not from your phone’s sensors. Cadence is minutes, not seconds. When sources are stale, the app labels them. Offline Anchor is a trailing average, labeled as such. Do not rely on EarthTune where a wrong frequency would be unsafe — it is a relaxation aid.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app except where these terms add to it.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or that any observatory will remain reachable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aether Tools will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
