Reptoidar runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. It works fully offline and needs no account.

Is this real?
No. Reptoidar is a comedy instrument. It does not detect reptilians or anything else, and every reading is generated at random. The deadpan presentation is the joke.

Why does it need camera access?
Only to show the live viewfinder behind the scan animation. Frames are used on-device in the moment and are never recorded or sent anywhere. See the privacy policy.

Can I scan people?
Point it at friends who are in on the bit. It is not a background check, and a scan is not a claim about a real person — please don't treat it as one.

Where do my dossiers go?
They stay on your device. Nothing is uploaded.

Deleting your data

Delete saved dossiers from inside the app. Deleting the app removes all of its on-device data.
