These terms govern your use of Manifold ("the app"), a focus timer published by Aether Tools ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Wake alarms are best-effort. On supported hardware and iOS versions, Manifold's AlarmKit-backed wake alarms are designed to break through Silent Mode and Focus, but no software alarm is a substitute for a dedicated safety-critical device. Don't rely on Manifold alone for anything where a missed alarm would be dangerous.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Manifold on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to this app except where these terms add to it.
Acceptable use
Use Manifold as intended: as a personal focus and session timer. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or the systems it interacts with.
In-app purchases
Manifold Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. Purchases are subject to Apple's App Store terms; refunds are handled by Apple, not us.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including as to the accuracy or reliability of its timers, alarms, or notifications.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aether Tools will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app, including a missed or delayed alarm or notification.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page; continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
