What MindPin AR is. A memory palace you don't have to imagine. Pin text notes, photos, voice memos, checklists, and dated reminders to actual places in your home or workspace. They stay where you left them across restarts, and the app surfaces what's due as you walk near it.

Requirements
MindPin AR runs on iPhone with iOS 18 or later and requires an ARKit-capable device. It needs camera permission to work at all; microphone and photo permissions are requested only when you record a voice memo or attach a picture. There is no account to create, and it works fully offline.
Frequently asked
Do my anchors really survive a restart?
Yes. Each anchor's position is saved to on-device storage along with an optional world map that lets the app recognize a room again. Placement, edits, and reviews all persist across app restarts and device reboots.
My anchors didn't come back / they're in the wrong place.
Relocalization needs the app to recognize the space visually. Give it a moment and pan the camera slowly across the same surfaces and features you saw when you placed the anchors. It struggles in the dark, against blank walls, and in rooms that have been substantially rearranged since. Good, even lighting and some visual texture make a large difference.
Can I move or resize an anchor?
Tap-to-select and open works today. Direct grab/move/resize gestures are being re-wired after the iOS port and are not hooked up in this build — the underlying commit-and-rollback logic is in place and tested, the gestures are what's missing. It's the next thing on the list.
How does the review queue decide what to show me?
A simple due threshold — roughly three days since an anchor was last reviewed — combined with how physically close you are. Due anchors emphasize and sort by real-world distance as you move, so what surfaces is what's both overdue and nearby.
Does this work on Vision Pro?
No. MindPin AR is the iPhone path, built on classic ARKit world tracking and world maps. It is not the visionOS spatial model.
Is my camera feed being recorded?
No. Camera frames are processed on-device for position tracking and are never saved or transmitted. The privacy policy covers this, and the saved world map, in detail.
Using AR safely
You'll be walking around while looking at a screen. Stay aware of stairs, furniture, traffic, and other people, and don't use the app anywhere a moment of inattention would be dangerous.
Deleting your data
Delete anchors individually from inside the app, or clear them all at once. Deleting the app removes all of its on-device data, including saved world maps. There is no server and no account to close.
Feedback
Bug reports and feedback are welcome at the address above. Including your iPhone model, iOS version, and a description of the space where tracking failed helps a lot.
