PSIFRAME — SUPPORT & SAFETY
Support & Safety
Last updated July 4, 2026
Safety first. PsiFrame produces flashing visual stimulation, which can trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy. If you have epilepsy, a seizure disorder, or any history of psychosis, do not use PsiFrame without first talking to a qualified clinician. Stop immediately and seek advice if you feel dizzy, nauseated, disoriented, or unwell. PsiFrame is not a medical device and does not diagnose or treat any condition.

Requirements
PsiFrame runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. It works fully offline and needs no account. Use headphones for the audio modes, and use it seated in a comfortable, safe setting — never while driving or operating machinery.
Who should not use PsiFrame
Do not use PsiFrame if any of the following apply, unless a clinician has told you it is safe: a personal or family history of photosensitive epilepsy or seizures; a history of psychosis or a psychotic disorder; pregnancy; or a serious heart, neurological, or psychiatric condition. If you are unsure, ask a professional first.
Why the safety rails exist
PsiFrame deliberately limits itself. It asks a short mood check before each session and will decline to start if you're in no state to train; it caps how many sessions you can run in a day; it holds frequencies within a bounded window; and it ends every session with a mandatory grounding phase rather than cutting you straight from a strobe back into your day. These limits are the point of the app, not obstacles to work around.
Frequently asked
Is PsiFrame safe?
For most people without the conditions listed above, used as directed and in moderation, the built-in limits are designed to keep sessions conservative. But flashing light carries inherent risk for some people — please read the safety notice above and the terms.
Does it treat anxiety, focus, sleep, or anything else?
No. PsiFrame makes no medical or therapeutic claims and treats no condition. It is a tool for perceptual training and experimentation.
Why won't it let me start another session?
You've reached the daily cap, or a mood check or safety window blocked the start. That's the safety layer doing its job. Rest and come back.
Deleting your data
Clear your history from inside the app. Deleting the app removes all of its on-device data.
