Noösphere runs the contact protocol as it is taught — attune, invite, give the cosmic address, hold a steady beacon, watch, ground — and writes down what you saw as yours, with the time and the bearing you aimed at. It keeps time, reads a compass, and does the Moon arithmetic. It never flashes, never points at the sky, and never calls anything contact.

Six phases, bounded and timed: attune, invite, give the cosmic address, hold the beacon, watch, ground. The phone keeps the clock, reads the compass, and computes dusk and the Moon on-device. What you see is written down as yours — with the time and the bearing — and left unevaluated.
Aim the back of the phone at it and tap. Time, compass bearing, and elevation are written for you. Count, colour, motion, how long, and what it wasn't are yours to add — then or later.
Dusk, full dark, and the Moon, computed on the phone from one coarse fix or a position you type. Approximate to a degree, labelled as such.
Your phone gets a designation, kept on the device. Optional callsign. First light, sessions, nights, beacon minutes, marks. No server has ever seen any of it.

The beacon is audio, haptics, and a steady light. The flash rates the source gear uses sit in the photosensitive-seizure band, so the signal is held steady instead.
No laser, no torch, no beam. Aiming light at aircraft is a felony and can blind a pilot, and the lore does not need it.
What you see is written down as yours, with time and bearing, and left unevaluated. This instrument records. It does not rule.
