Requirements

Noösphere runs on iPhone with iOS 17 or later. Location is optional. Motion access is needed for the compass sightline and bearing stamps. There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to.

Getting started

Set your station designation (the app suggests one; add a callsign if you like), then start a session. The six phases run in order — attune, invite, cosmic address, beacon, watch, ground — each on its own timer. During Watch, aim the back of the phone at anything you notice and tap to mark it.

Frequently asked

Does it detect UAP?
No. A phone cannot detect UAP, craft, or spheres, and this app does not claim to. It records what you report — time, bearing, elevation, and your own notes — and leaves it unevaluated. The optional magnetometer readout is the phone's local field in microtesla, labelled as such; it is not a detector either.

Why doesn't it flash?
The flash rates the source community's gear uses fall in the band that can trigger photosensitive seizures. The beacon here is audio, haptics, and a steady light. Nothing in the app strobes, and Reduce Motion freezes what little animation remains.

Why won't it guide a laser?
Because pointing a laser at an aircraft is a felony and can blind a pilot. The app does not drive, aim, or time any external light and never will. The protocol as taught does not need it.

What is a mark?
A single entry in the session log: the moment you tapped, the compass bearing and elevation the phone was aimed at, and whatever you add — count, colour, motion, how long it lasted, and what it wasn't. Add details in the moment or later. Marks are yours; the app does not score or interpret them.

Where does the Moon data come from?
It is computed on the phone from one coarse location fix or a position you type. Dusk, full dark, Moon rise and set, and phase are approximate to about a degree and labelled as such. No almanac is downloaded and no request leaves the device.

Do I need headphones?
For the binaural beacon, yes — it needs a separate signal in each ear. Isochronic pulses and haptics work without them.

How do I delete my data?
Swipe any session or mark to delete it. Deleting the app removes everything, including your station designation and callsign. There is no server copy and no account to close.

A note on what this is not

Noösphere is a focus, calm, and awe practice, not a diagnostic, not a detector, and not a substitute for care. The Sphere Network model is presented as lore, in the community's own words, and marked as such.
